Who we are
Multi-award winning animator Gobblynne and illustrator-extraordinaire Billmund founded Superdoodle to help people bring their stories to glorious technicolour through illustration, animation and design.

Gobblynne
aka Katy Ross
Creative producer / Animation director / Illustrator
Katy brings her imagination into focus one frame at a time - through compelling, handcrafted animations. Her films are a rich landscape of ideas, topics, and characters, and reflect her passion for taking complex stories and making them palatable.
Katy had been working as a freelance animator and illustrator for over 10 years when she joined forces with Billmund to create Superdoodle. She’s a busy bee; Katy keeps things moving as producer, organiser, builder, and dreamer. She loves her work – and it shows!
Billmund
aka William Ross
Illustrator / Designer
Bill is one of those natural creatives that can sketch a character or scene with such ease, one wonders if he’s somehow cheating. With a slick, clean style Billmund can turn his hand to classic comic, contemporary silhouette or characterful graphic portraits at the drop of a hat.
Born in upside-down Australia, Bill upped-sticks to Bristol in 2011 and has been unable to leave. He’s been busy illustrating for all sorts of different clients, devouring comics, and walking in the countryside with the office dog/love of his life Gypsy. We’re not sure if Bill ever sleeps.

We work with a community of carefully selected and trusted artists and experts - animation whizz-kids, expert writers and super sound designers - so when we need a special skill brought in on a project we know exactly who to call.
When we’re putting your project together, we build a bespoke team, handpicked for your project. We’re personal because you get our time, and we’re effective because we work with you to ensure you’re getting the best solution for your needs.
We create everything from short and springy stories to big, bold campaigns. Our boundless creativity and love for characters has the power to spark conversation, tug heartstrings or give a little giggle.
