RSA Webby win

20 May 2020 in Awards & goodstuff

The RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) believes in a world where everyone is able to participate in creating a better future.

One of their accolades has been their series “RSA Shorts – World-Changing Ideas”. This series had been designed to provide a snapshot of a big idea, blending voices from the RSA Public Events Programme and the creative talents of illustrators and animators from around the world. It responds to the ever-increasing need for new ideas and inspiration in our busy lives and acts as a jolt of ‘mental espresso’ that will awaken the curiosity in all of us.

This series includes three of our animations; “The Power Of Empathy” , “Blame” and “Anyone Can Change The World”.

And today we wanted to have a little skip and a dance, as we have heard the fantastic news that this RSA series has won a Webby Award.

A Webby Award is an award for excellence on the Internet presented annually by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a judging body composed of over two thousand industry experts and technology innovators. Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honour,” the award is one of the oldest Internet-oriented awards, and is associated with the phrase “The Oscars of the Internet.”

Huge congrats to the RSA and all of the other fantastic illustrators and animators, we are honoured to be part of the team and to have contributed to such a wonderful series.
